Now in its fourth year, 116 racing started with the Gaz Shocks 116 Trophy, with a vision to create an ambitious, unique, competitive and inclusive one make endurance race formula.
Holding events across the UK’s most historic circuits and in partnership with the 750 Motor Club, the 116 Trophy is the country’s fastest-growing RWD Endurance series and, new for 2023, the Sprint and Coupe Cup series expand the offering to competitors.
Through a combination of consistent regulation, minimal modifications and a strong focus on feedback from our community we are proud to be able to offer Motorsport enthusiasts a gateway into racing.
Our standard format consists of Endurance races (90 – 180 minutes of track time), allowing up to three drivers and Sprint races (45-50 minutes of track time), ideal for single driver teams.
Each season also includes special event races such as extended length, racing abroad and additional locations. The choice of endurance or sprint racing allows drivers to share the events, infastructure and community, keeping costs down, while providing plenty of driving time.
We strive to ensure that all our series are as accessible as possible for novices and those on a budget, with experience, support and advice readily available from the organisers, as well as a depth of experience provided by our teams.
